Caunton Apprentice Success

Aaron and Wesley have become the first Caunton Engineering Apprentices to successfully complete their Diploma in Advance Manufacturing Engineering.

This qualification replaced the old NVQ and now includes an end point assessment on completion of the course. The end point assessment involves an independent assessor visiting the Caunton works to observe the Apprentices as they carry out their fabrication and welding duties. The Apprentices then take part in an hour long interview, where the assessor decides if they are competent and capable of becoming a qualified plater / welder.

Both Aaron and Wesley did really well and were both passed off by the end point assessment assessor. They have both worked incredibly hard and have showed great commitment in becoming a success.

Everyone within our Training Academy and at Caunton Engineering are very proud of all they have achieved.
