Undergraduate and Graduate Training

Graduate Training

Being a dedicated Investor in People Caunton recognises the importance of bringing graduates in to our team and each year we aim to recruit new graduates into various business disciplines.

Our graduate programme is supervised and mentored by our Chartered Structural / Civil Engineers, and is accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers, which gives you the opportunity to progress towards chartered membership of the ICE and IStructE.

You will initially complete an in-house training programme that covers all the processes in the company. You will then be assigned to one of our departments, and can expect to be working on live projects within a few months. In addition to comprehensive on the job training, you will also attend training courses and seminars to further enhance your knowledge. Transition from Graduate to Structural Engineer is typically around 3 to 5 years.

If you are a Civil Engineering BSc, BEng or MEng undergraduate, have good communication and problem solving skills, can work well in a team and feel capable of contributing to Caunton's established reputation for innovation and engineering excellence, then please contact our Human Resources Department
