Caunton’s first project to be featured on the Monopoly board

Caunton have never to our knowledge worked at Monopoly Board favourite Old Kent Road nor in Mayfair for that matter, but it is now working at a Monopoly Board location, Friars Walk in Newport South Wales. Friars Walk, you ask? It's because the Newport edition Monopoly game was officially unveiled recently.
A gigantic version of the classic family game was put on display at the Celtic Manor in October to mark ‘M Day’ throughout the city and put Newport on the Monopoly world map.

The South Wales Argus reported on the unveiling after announcing last month that it had been chosen, of course, for the coveted Fleet Street square after game makers declared the decision a “no-brainer”. The Friars Walk square is located right next door in the Trafalgar Square position.
Newport Transporter Bridge, The Celtic Manor and Newport Retail Park were also among the 22 landmarks voted to feature on the board by thousands of Newport people.

Quite a first for Caunton.
