Caunton Engineering are very pleased to have been awarded the contract for the structural steelwork for a new Manufacturing Facility by main contractor, Wilten Construction. This new manufacturing plant is for Turkish-owned sandwich panels producer, Assan Panel, located at Gateway 14 in Stowmarket. The new facility will produce insulation and façade systems for the UK and Europe.

Caunton are designing, supplying and erecting – a twin-span Portal Frame with integrated crane-beams plus framing for an external two storey office block. Caunton are very pleased to be working for the first time with Wilten Construction. This main contractor operates nationally in the industrial, logistics, and commercial, and retail sectors, and are specialists in design & build projects.

Caunton were very pleased to return to work at Gateway 14 at Stowmarket. Caunton had only last year supplied over 3,000te of steelwork for a new “The Range” warehouse located there, almost opposite the site for the new Assan Panel facility.
