Caunton Engineering were very pleased to have been awarded the contract for the structural steelwork package for the new T.J. Morris distribution centre near Doncaster, by main contractor McLaren Construction.

This impressive £108 million facility serves over three hundred Home Bargains stores and features 105 loading bays.

The development comprises a steel-framed warehouse incorporating low bay, intermediate bay, and high bay areas, with mezzanine floors and integrated office accommodation, covering a total area of approximately 829,000 sq ft. The high bay section rises to an impressive 43 metres in height.

Caunton designed, supplied, and erected over 6,000 tonnes of structural steelwork for this project, contributing to the successful delivery of one of the UK’s largest and most advanced logistics facilities.
