Caunton designed, manufactured and installed 1,165 tonnes of structural steelwork for a distribution warehouse on Plot 4, at the East Midlands Distribution Centre (EMDC).

The EMDC is a 200 acre redevelopment site on the former Castle Donnington Power Station, located adjacent to junction 24 of the M1, at Castle Donnington. The structure of the Plot 4 building is a 340,000sq.ft, triple span portal frame with an internal office and hub. This major site was developed by Clowes Developments, with the architects being Leicester based IMA Architects.

Caunton are proud to have contributed to this most successful and expanding distribution centre.
