New Steel Construction reports that work is underway on a new David Lloyd Club at Herne Bay in Kent.
Working on behalf of main contractor, Foxton Construction, Caunton Engineering have fabricated, supplied and erected 170 tonnes of steelwork for this project.
Set to achieve a BREEAM 'Very Good' rating, the club will feature four swimming pools, a wellness and spa area, a multi-use games court, fitness studios, children's zones, as well as a lounge and social spaces.

The project was a particularly successful one for Caunton. Foxton Construction commented on LinkedIn - "Great performance by Caunton Engineering. Faultless display from start to finish. Onto the next one now."
Caunton hope the next one will again be in partnership with Foxton Construction.
