Caunton Engineering are very pleased to have been awarded the contract for the structural steelwork for a David Lloyd Health Club by main contractor, Foxton Construction. The site is located in Herne Bay.

The steelwork is required for the construction of a new leisure centre, to accommodate a new sports hall, gym, spa and indoor swimming pools. The structure comprises 170 tonnes of steelwork, on top of fixing the metal decking and installation of the precast lift shaft.

Caunton are working for the first time with Foxton Construction. The company is a vastly experienced, multi-disciplined construction company based in the Midlands. Each member of their team has over 25 years' experience of delivering projects across a range of sectors, with a combined contract value of over £1 billion.
