Caunton Engineering were very pleased to be awarded the contract by main contractor Winvic Construction for the structural steelwork for client Tungsten Properties' new Arc Royal Birkenhead Freeport complex, entitled Arc Royal. It is reported that this will be Liverpool's largest distribution / production unit.

It is a 494,750sq.ft speculative development with cross-dockyard facilities.

Caunton are designing, supplying and erecting over 1,500te of structural steelwork for a four span portal-framed warehouse, with curved roof and internal 4-storey office. The structure will enjoy a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
