The second year Civil Engineering design project awards for the University of Nottingham students have again been sponsored by Caunton Engineering. The certificates and cash prizes were presented by Caunton's Technical Manager, Gavin Christie, who is a University of Nottingham alumnus.

The Caunton sponsored awards, supervised by Assistant Professor Paul Ragsdale, were made for three prizes relating to steelwork design. Students worked in groups of six, with both individual and group prizes awarded. The photographs show this years winners and runners up.
