The photograph shows the new NHS Call Centre in Nottingham. This is the third building in the Island Business Quarter, known locally in Nottingham as the Island Site, which is framed with structural steelwork fabricated and erected by Caunton Engineering. It is also the third built on the Island Site for Simons Construction.
The first building constructed for Simons was the Headquarters for the BBC, and the second, offices for the East Midlands Regional Development Authority.
The Call Centre itself comprises three floors, comprising 22,300 square feet of office space. There is a feature plant-room which incorporates a single-ply membrane roof, architecturally-designed so as to be in keeping with the surrounding buildings located on this prestigious Island Site.
