Caunton designed, manufactured and installed 1,165 tonnes of structural steelwork for a distribution warehouse on Plot 4, at the East Midlands Distribution Centre (EMDC).
The EMDC is a 200 acre redevelopment site on the former Castle Donnington Power Station, located adjacent to junction 24 of the M1, at Castle Donnington. The structure of the Plot 4 building is a 340,000sq.ft, triple span portal frame with an internal office and hub. This major site was developed by Clowes Developments, with the architects being Leicester based IMA Architects.
