Caunton Engineering completed the supply and erection of structural steelwork to their own design at Adwick Park, Rotherham. The site itself lies adjacent to the busy East Coast Main Line, which brought its own problems. This prestigious three-storey office block was built for Highbridge Properties plc. The main contractor was Interserve Project Services with whom Caunton enjoy a most successful working relationship.

Caunton were responsible for the design, fabrication & erection of the structure, plus the supply & fixing of the metal decking & the landing of the pre-cast concrete stairs. Erection was far from easy. Not only was there the railway line proximity, but craneage and access equipment were required to stand outside the main footprint of the building due to the construction of the suspended ground floor slab.
