November 2016 was truly a milestone month in the impressive progress of Caunton Engineering. After a most busy year of record order levels, when Caunton won steelwork supply contracts for framing two distribution centres of well over a million square feet, Caunton’s works team completed the fabrication of 951 tonnes of steelwork in a single week on a single shift in November. This is a record for the company and reflects the success of introducing the Cut Shack –the independent saw/drill centre - which adds a third facility into the production process . Feeding this major production record demanded another company record – the drawing office in the month issued sufficient information to service the fabrication of 3,709te of steelwork.
