Caunton Engineering have won Supplier of the Year Award 2005 from Simons Construction – themselves regularly winners of National Contractor of the Year Awards. Caunton, with a 95% Performance Score, compared most favourably when competing with all Simons many major suppliers and partners, across all trades. Simons and Caunton have worked together for many years and on many varied projects. Caunton for example recently completed the steelwork for the Pharmacy Quality Control Unit at Nottingham University Hospital’s Queens Medical Centre. This was a first in the Midlands for the Simons Construction-led NHS JV, Medicinq.
